Eyes fixed on the TV screen
To cover his nervousness he picks at his fries,
Sips his beer
He wipes his hands on his jersey,
Adjusts his baseball hat
He thumbs his mental rosary
Of comforting statistics
When they win,
It is the Best Thing
my verbosity is only exceeded by my pomposity

it's really significant to me when my favorite team wins a big game, or is having a good season.
