__________

Nothing Much
There was a man who spent all his days
Farming in Nowhere, North Dakota
In his teens he fought his parents
In his 20s he fought the bank
In his 30s he fought his children
In his 40s he fought his wife
In his 50s he fought his body
In his 60s he died
Though he fought for life
Till the very last second

The World Was Boring, Anyway
It's the zombie apocalypse, the end of the world
The air smells like corpses
No one is putting out any new albums
I'm driving around in my specially-outfitted-apocalypse-mobile
Armored sides and a flashy razor-sharp cowcatcher on the front
Sometimes I giggle a little
When I catch myself observing the speed limit
